I respect cops and NYFD for what they do and the risks that they take, but the law is the law. They want to protect us and the law, so they need to set a example by following the law. The arguement of low pay and dealing with crap, does not justify getting to park whereever. If that is the case then a large percentage of new yorkers could fall into that catagory, and then should't we all get permits. We all have chossen what we do for a living, if you want a safer job or higher pay then go get it, but you may need to leave your permit.
