ONCE AGAIN I FIND MYSELF EDUCATING LAWANDORDER. I have stated numerous times that this is the self enforcement area of the NYS Parole. In the Past Lawandorder has posted supposed violators that included court officer, NYS troopers, NYPD officers and now Corrections officers. He has even purposely misclassified the very parking permits of the NYS Parole officers by deeming their federal placards fake. Where does he get his information from? Why cant he accept and realize that all the agencies I mentioned above work hand in hand with NYS Parole to deal with the criminal element of NYC and therefore when a fellow agency come to their offices on West 26th street they are allowed to use their self enforcement area to park within. I am not stating all the parked vehicles are on official business but then again I have been known to drive into the city on my day off and use a fellow agency's parking area to park my car. Usually I come to the city to take in a show or movie which is perfectly legal thus a lack of any sort of summonses. ITS CALLED INTER AGENCY COURTESY. I should know this especially when our Traffic facility is located on 30th and 6th avenue. . Why park in a garage and pay their exorbitant fees when I can use a fellow agency's self enforcement area to park my truck. In the long run it saves me a lot of money and aggravation. My city issued parking placard allows me this luxury. When will dribble such as this stop being posted. Law please take the time to do a little research and stop embarrassing yourself.
