Oh look, another lonely uncommented thread. Let me donate a few words of wizdom.

Ahem, the vehicle in question has a pool plaque that clearly identifies it as a veh on official business. This permit carries more weight than the usual parking permit becasue it is unrestricted. A S.E.Z need not apply. It is a permit that is good anywher, hence there is no violation to be had here.
I do wish these bicyclists would just go around the veh and go about their business.

Funny how the poster did not say anything about the marked sector car in the background parked in the same lane. I see they just want a juicier target to suit their cause. LOL.

It's on official business and the traffic regs do not apply.
Sorry but ommiting valuable information will not garner you any sympathy points.

The best part of this situation is the Ice cream truck!

Its also not a police department vehicle. The blue EZ pass within NYC is for city owned vehicles, or commercial vehicles statewide, but police department city owned vehicles have an orange ez-pass.

I have taken DA vehicles for DA assignments and the plaques look similar to the NYPD pool plaques, but it will specifically say DAs office on the plaque.
