Apparently this is used as parking for an FDNY dispatch facility located nearby. There should be signage and placards that indicate the facility and the use.

OK. I had looked for an FDNY facility near here before posting but missed this. Will delete other posts, laeve this one to advise other site users and for site administrators to do with as they wish (there should be signage and/or placards associated with this FDNY facility).

The parking lot of the fire dispatch building has construction going on in it, but still they should try to find a legal space to park.
