I don't know about DT, but when I have a need to drive to Manhattan (which is less than a few times a yeah) I most often park in what's called a garage. Sure it costs money, but it's legal, and easier than interpreting horrible signage, and competing with "permitted" cars.

As it is also very dangerous for the officer to put on his uniform everyday and
protect the citizens.
Yes it is, But thats a Job They Choose Knowing the Dangers. Basically What Your Saying is an Officer can Protect the Citizens of N.Y.C. from People Who Might Harm Them as Long is It's Not One of There Own. Is That a Correct Assessment?
