This cop thinks that the hydrant is his private spot on the block. I will check if the permit is expired since the picture was not so good. This is not a problem since this parked car is there very frequently.
Why does everyone assume that restricred passes are cops cars? I live in Bay Ridge and would venture a guess that 90% of the restricted passes are phoney. Why does the city continue to give these people free rides? They should be ticketed and towed.

I believe in full enforcement. In that case since no one is like Jesus, all of us would be in jail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We live everyday with the chance of another 911, and all you can do is complain about parking. Im a store owner, and I like when cops park outside of my store and come in. That way all the shit that is out there knows that and prevents crime.
Would you all please quit with the "another 911" stuff? It's like a magic word that excuses anything. Maybe I'll try going around and saying to people "We live every day with the chance of another 911, so I'm going to punch you in the face." That makes as much sense as what you said, 3:02 PM.
How about all of the plaques that the precinct issues to members of the community? Pastors, Reverends, Rabbi's, Community Council members, Auxillary POs, etc...I see that same car in Brooklyn that's always parked in a bus stop. Further investigation revealed that the car belongs to the President of the Community Council who ALWAYS throws a plaque in this window and ALWAYS parks in the bus stop. If some poor cop decides to tag that car he will be walking a foot post for 30 days.

Should be 15 feet away from hydrant. Other vehicle is right on the hydrant. Both should be tagged.

He left plenty of room to access that hydrant. There is no issue here except to those who like to make mountains out of molehills.
