A Hum Dinger of a Scofflaw: NY PRESS with expired placard in a NO PARKING 7AM -7PM EXCEPT SUNDAY ZONE near the studio in violation of even a valid placard
Here we have a FOX 5 employee parking in proximety of the studio with an expired placard in a NO PARKING 7AM-7PM EXCEPT SUNDAY zone for more that three hours. Three strikes and you're out.
#7: only "while covering a news assignment" -- this is right by their studio.

This guy is pro cop. His news stories always tell both sides of the story and for his bravery in news telling we have extended him the rare courtesy of parking within our SEZ.
It is kind of a reward. Everyone at the 19th pct knows this veh and therefore refrain from writing it any summonses.
This is a great case of "you wash my hand and I wash yours".
Pro cop you say?
I am pro cop as well but you do see me getting a break when I park illegally. Perhaps I will just leave a hand written paper on my dash stating that I too am pro cop. I will keep my fingers crossed. I wonder what will happen in the long run?
P.S I believe all oficers deserve a much needed raise. Their job is a very dangerous one and being as such they should be cut some slack when they are parking near their facilities.
Just a thought.

Actually cops do quite well and have excellent benefits and a terrific pension. Why do you think they took the job. I am a veteran I think I should have a special parking permit that allows me to park anywhere I please as I protected a nation and put my life at risk.

This guy is a good friend of the employees of the 19pct. Friendships have their perks. He also is a large contributor of the 19th pct PAL.
Leave him be.
ugh you people dont read stuff before you rant about them. everyone here...get a copy of the rules and regs of nyc parking. no parking zones are vaild for parking by certain permited vehicles, press is one of them. no standing anytime is one of the signs where no placards are vailid. second, placards are giving out by the nypd, and often they expire before the have a chance for issuing new ones, so before u cast stones, get ur facts in order.
#15 seriously? have u seen new rookie salaries? once again...read up on stuff before you open ur mouth, and in any case thank you for what you have done for the country, but this blog isnt about that, its about parking and parking abuse...semper fi

I see no safety issues with NYP. he puts himself out there parking this thing in public illegally with an expired placard.

I personally think this photo should be put on a poster in Times Square or at least on that electronic doohicky for all to see.
