BLOCKING FIRE HYDRANT

Observed by JSE652000 on Mon, Aug 10 2009

This officer parks his car every day either close to a fire hydrant or under a no parking area.
That photo was taken a couple of months back. Now the officer owns another vehicle but continues breaking the law.

Looks like it's the same distance to the hydrant from both cars in the pic. Can you provide a better pic? I never condone parking and blocking a hydrant but this seems like there is sufficient room for a rig to connect the water lines if need be.

I actually downloaded 2 more photos and one of them shows how far each car is parked.

that's less than the distance legally required by law to park away from the fire hydrant. i would think most of us would get ticketed easily but if you have a placard that's a different story. =)

Now that's a clearer pic. yes, the car is sparked too close. The owner should have known better.
