I've reported this vehicle before. This purple Scion tC is parked at this hydrant almost every day. 81st pct permit in window.

This Time He Moved 3 Feet Up, Big Deal. Another Fine Example of How "He Who Works for the NYPD Declare Himself Untouchable".

ABOVE this is unexcusable but comments like "He who works for the NYPD declares himself untouchable" is not endearing yourself to anyone, and its getting played out.

No, What is Getting Played Out is This Sense of Superiority SOME Not All Feel! I'm Not Here to be Endeared By Anyone Just Calling it like I See it.....

What this car owner is doing is wrong, but it's unfair to make generalizations about all officers.

#4- That's Why I said SOME Not All.. But, I Would Honestly Have to Say the Majority.

So you see roughly 20,000 cars in front of hydrants all the time? That would justify you using the word "majority" This is an extremely small problem compared to the vastness of the department. Just seems like you have an ax to grind and this is how you do it!

It should be pointed out that this location is not near the 81st Pct on Ralph Ave. This guy may use public transportation to get to work, and just uses the placard to park his personal vehicle here near his home. Based on comments from the LE on this site, that is not something most cops would do, so this may not be a cop, just someone who got a hold of a permit. You should post a picture of the permit sometime, bk.

Forget what LE says, they all do it. On alt parking days you can ride thru the neighborhood and see where all the cops live becuase they are the only cars on the block.

About 10 in a 3 block radius of my house. They're only cops when illegally parking. You don't see the permit otherwise.

Caught the kid across the street (been a cop 1 month) in the hydrant for the second time. Tried to give me the old "I was in the house for only a minute." Second time I've seen it, I told him. This is my hydrant, had this fight with the last cop that lived here, also.

If I catch that clown from Hiway in the hydrant one more time, I'm going to post all his pics and also forward them to the boro for a little enforcement. The guy's a menace.

Not just his parking either.

I hate to rub it in but this car was on the same hydrant this morning. Yep, this site is really making changes alright. 5 days and the guy still parks there. The people who run this site brag that they have extreme power and yet this lowly officer parks every night at the same hydrant. Now who has the power?

I know how to spell highway. When we speak of one of the Highway Districts, 1,2,3,4 or SI's 5 we use a shorthand synbol that may not be known to all.

In this case we are talking Hiway 3, the clown with the Blazer who parks and drives as if there are no other cars on the road and no traffic laws.

You know who you are. Don't make me post your pictures (many). You're too easy a target.

As far as your purple friend, that hydrant was put there for his personal convenience, not the neighborhoods safety, obviously.

Me and this guy are in the same boat. I hope he never moves his car and keeps on pissing off BK.
God bless the owner of the Purple Nurple mobile.

"Progress Takes Time, For Rome was Not Built in a Day. I Can't Wait to See What Happens Months from Now, I Wonder How Many Will be Bragging About their Blatant Abuse of Authority.. I Assure You, Not Many." Maybe it is the nature of the beast but I have found that cops have a way of wearing people down. Your arrogance and belief that in the future the cops who park illegally will get theirs is unfounded. Face facts just like with other professions (Doctor, Lawyers, Etc.) cops look out for their own. Right or wrong that is just the way it is. Get used to it. Just remember that those who despise the police had better make sure that they are friends to the criminals. Do you know what it is like to be hated by almost everyone outside our profession? Most people that I have run across look down on the police mostly because of jealousy of our powers given to us by law. I really believe that if your biggest complaint is that cars are parked illegally then the city must truly be a safe place. And for that you should thank the POLICE.

Hey anon 11:50,
Can you please explain to me how a site meant to change the way people park with placards can be conflated to hating cops? The people who clearly don't like cops have been deleted. This is not a site to vent frustrations about cops, but about how cops and a number of other people park.

It's the parked cars, people. That's what's got everyone in a fuss. You are not your car, parked or otherwise, and people would certainly feel much better if they weren't parked like this.

But that has nothing to do with the community feels about cops as people.

why don't you call the precinct the cop is from and report him? or better yet Internal Affairs? I have a similar offender on my block that parks in front of a hydrant every evening-I called my local precinct and they left a note on the car telling him to move or it will be ticketed next time it's there. 311 is a joke-they don't do anything.
