Another party at Gracie Mansion. This guy in the dark gray van is parked SIMULTANEOUSLY at a hydrant, in a crosswalk, and in an intersection. TRIFECTA.
He's got a powerful permit, but IT'S a PARTY and HE's BROKEN 3 or MORE PARKING RULES.

It is really very simple, like the Governor of NJ, Hollywood Mike Bloomberg is a disingenuous bafoon.

Too bad Michael Bloomberg has done more for this city than you could possibly realize. You are also posting this because you can't park there and they can and that makes you mad. You live on the Upper East Side and probably have money in the bank. Spend more time looking for a legal spot or put the car in a garage.

He's also in a safety zone, sideways in the traffic and a no standing zone.

They aren't "sideways" like you claim. It is angle parking and if you look to the south, there are legal parking spots and those are angle parking spots as well.

Oh right, my mistake. Angle parking in the safety zone.

Ridiculous. He commits 5 violations and you defend the one. This gets treated as if it was a civillian veh, same standard.
Only the van and the black car are in violation. If you blow up the picture, the black car is directly in the way. Fortunately it's the smaller nozzzle and the bigger one is pointing out to the sidewalk.

cops and other city workers should be able to park where they want as long as they don't cause a serious safty hazard. Its the least you (the public) can do.
Simply put the city pays its workers unfairly...when compaired to the rest of the METRO area. IT is only fair then, that when cops are paid 20000 below market rate to live in the most expensive city in this country and have the hardest policing job in that country...that the public can cut them some slack when they park in that no standing zone. 3 years without a contract and counting...
Remember its the cops that cut murder rates down to under 500 a year, and made your brownstones in park slope worth millions. DO YOU Remember under mayor dinkins when there were 4000 murders a year...guess what... thats more murders in one year then total american solders killed in iraq ever.
You should thank the police not complain over parking privlages, look at it as a 20000 dollar benefit, not breaking the law.

hey #8, I think you're right, we should cut the police some slack but only when they cut the public some slack and find some real crime to fight instead of ticketing parked cars to make quota.
