Another of Mayor's Police vehicles in a striped zone

yet another Gracie Mansion Official Mayor's vehicle flaunting parking rules.
These rules are strictl enforced by traffic ticket-writers. Minimum $115 tickets for us. So that we keep the parking clear for them.

Maybe the striped zones are FOR these cars to park. A mayoral SEZ of a sort.
Oh I know, I know, "but the SIGNAGE says"! Does it really matter what the signage says if the end result is still "you can't park but these vehicles can"? Do you really want more tax dollars spent just so all these signs can be changed to state what is already in effect?
These are valid questions I'm sure I'll get no legit response to. You'll just whine on about sinage and rules and nonsense.

people....that is why the sign says "no standing anytime". its for the mayoral details. whenever there is a so called "rich people's party" at the gracies mansion, they have those spot. they need that sign up there so "you" people don't park there or park and stay in the vehicle so that you can wait for people.

I'm not sure why it is an unusual concept for the mayor's Tahoe to be parked in front of Gracie Mansion. Granted he lives on 79th street but if the Tahoe is over at Gracie Mansion, it means that he was, is, or soon will be at the given location. Maybe they are the advance car or something. Either way, they are not going to change the signs they just won't ticket the vehicle, which they shouldn't.

I'm sure the mayors' car is allowed thru the gate and right up to the door. While he may claim to ride the subway, the less public contact the better.
