A car with NYS executive branch ID parking outside of Gracie Mansion. Oh yeah, you have a master criminal here.

You people make yourselves look foolish. Perhaps this is a SEZ for Gracie and the authorized people who have to be there. Oh I know, I know, then they should "change the signage". Please, you're embarrassing yourselves.

I really wish violent street level crime would return like in the Dinkins years. You people need something more serious to worry about.

I see my last post was deleted AGAIN.

This entry does not in any way indicate that this car belongs to a civil servant. Your accusation is simply NOT proof.

If there is a placard or other form of ID present I challenge you to show it. No proof should mean NO post.

For all we know you are just photographing illegally parked civilian cars and trying to pass them off as civil servant cars for the furtherance of this site. Why should your word be trusted with no photographic evidence?

Now, NO calling of names, No cursing, only valid points and valid questions. Delete this and you prove your bias.

the placards are submitted in separate pictures now. It's an NYPD permit.

B52,
We stopped showing placards and license plates after LEO complained that we were endangering their families (statistically incredibly improbable, but hey, we ain't trying to pick a fight that is immaterial to this site). Now you complain that you can't see the placards. And given how many posts you complain about this on, methinks you're just here to complain. Now if you want to convince Brooklyncop1 and many others that they are wrong and we should start showing all those things, be my guest. But the site stays as is, regardless of your carping.

cops and other city workers should be able to park where they want as long as they don't cause a serious safty hazard. Its the least you (the public) can do.

Simply put the city pays its workers unfairly...when compaired to the rest of the METRO area. IT is only fair then, that when cops are paid 20000 below market rate to live in the most expensive city in this country and have the hardest policing job in that country...that the public can cut them some slack when they park in that no standing zone. 3 years without a contract and counting...

Remember its the cops that cut murder rates down to under 500 a year, and made your brownstones in park slope worth millions. DO YOU Remember under mayor dinkins when there were 4000 murders a year...guess what... thats more murders in one year then total american solders killed in iraq ever.

You should thank the police not complain over parking privlages, look at it as a 20000 dollar benefit, not breaking the law.

#1, uh, no we don't. That's the PURPOSE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. To decrease ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. Now that some of the bigger ones are reduced, the CORRUPTION and misled ideology of entitlement needs to GO. Because it is ILLEGAL. Plain and simple. If you are sworn to uphold the law, you have no right under any circumstances to do anything else.
