50th Precinct in the Bronx at West 236th Street and Kingsbridge Ave has completely taken over West 236th Street's sidewalks.
The other side of 236th Street, where the precinct is, is also blocked with police vehicles like ESU trucks (see right side of photo). A pedestrian has to either walk into the street or climb into McDonald's parking lot and then climb back when a gap appears in the sidewalk parking.
Their SEZ enforcement seems very lax - many of the cars pictured here do not display any permits at all. I also saw many NYPD RPP permits without the license number filled in, and one or two expired permits.
Often there are cars left on the corners blocking the crosswalk. Yellow lines (like the one visible in the foreground are painted on the pavement to remind the cops not to park there. Note the second painted yellow line to the right of the motorcycle - that is supposed to keep cars from blocking the hydrant (hard to see but it's behind the motorcycle somewhere).

That's a Highway 1 undercover motorcycle. Plenty of room left in the street for the wheelchairs, what's the complaint?
Two way street, looks like DEP tow parked backwards on the right side rear.

Listen ... Bottom line is... THATS A SEZ... WE COMBAT PARK.... WHATS THE PROBLEM???? If The residents dont complain, then they dont care. If they did complain, the CO would do something about it.

Hello all Carne unable to log in again, It looks like there are no houses/apartments there. That looks like a industrial area. Plenty of room to walk.

#5, there is not "plenty of room to walk" unless you're talking about going into the street.
#3, People walk through here on a regular basis - there is an apartment building with laundromat on the block across the street from this corner (where I stood to take the picture).
#2, I think it's possible for there to be an SEZ without creating safety hazards like blocking the sidewalk, hydrant, and crosswalks.
#1, the complaint is that the sidewalk is blocked. The motorcycle on the sidewalk, though probably also in violation of safety rules, isn't too big a deal except that it's also blocking the hydrant (hence the yellow line to the right of the motorcycle, painted by the precinct even though they're not enforcing it much - those spots are not in the SEZ AFAICT).
