Court Officers union placards are not valid in NYC for any parking privileges. Just like Firefighters union placards and Court Clerks, these are only for identification purposes in official off-street facilities (since some are state unions, there are probably lots in other municipalities where parking isn't so expensive), not for parking on-street illegally.

it is up to the nypd oficers discretion to issue a summons! becareful! one day you may be the one to ask for a courtesy or some discretion!

Gents, I dunno if you know this, but every single one of the six million bees in this city can see EXACTLY the same plate numbers if they walk by these vehicles. There is as little wrong with displaying plate numbers as there is with displaying funny signs we see on the street, it is not private info. No personal information is revealed on this site, I could take a picture of every plate in this city and it wouldn't do a damn thing to the owner of the vehicle.

Also #8, that is the biggest joke I've ever heard. A police officer in this city let off a non-cop who didn't flash a SBO card or some other equally bogus "get out of jail free" card? Utterly nonsensical concept.
