That location is in queens. Read thoroughly please.. the 79pct is in Brooklyn, not where this vehicle is parked according to the poster. If this is true somebody is not playing fair....

Get use to the blocked permit fellas. It shows just enough of the placard to be identified as legit and no self respecting officer will quibble about he permit being on the issued car. I like to ad insult to injury by placing a "PBA"(non-shield) right over the serial number.
Now who are you going to run tell when you don't have enough info on the permit.
HAHAHAHAH!

All I see is a picture of a permit on a dashboard. No whree is there a hydrant or any other indication of an illegally parked vehicle.
Well I did it last nite, I parked my car in the middle of the street with a notice on the dashboard about what I thought of this site and didn't get one ticket! HA!
FOIA or lawsuit for what #4 to find out who that person is or to find out who took the pics.
I see all these ad's about if you see something say something and they have that number on it or they go talk to a cop. Well I did today about this site and he told me to call counter terrorism and report it as a possible tool to help terrorists do something to our city. I wonder if they can do something? I hope so.

May 9, 2007 -- The growing abuse of government-issued vehicle placards has finally gotten the attention of the one person whom privileged parkers have to fear: Mayor Bloomberg.
Bloomberg said municipal workers "shouldn't be treated any differently than somebody working in the private sector," except for those in emergency roles.
That is coming from a billionaire who has official vehicles drive him to and from every function he goes to? He should talk. I heard if he's late to a function he fires the cops driving him.
I just looked at the site sponsor, are you the people who keep getting locked up for those bike rides in the city that disrupt traffic and such?
Just an FYI I talked to a cop and he says that bikes have to follow the rules of the road too. No sidewalk riding, no going through read lights at intersections and no riding the wrong way on a 1 way street. I see thousands of these violations in my neighborhood every day.
# 12 What the Hell are you talking about?? TARU= Technical Assistance Response Unit, secret revealed take off the tinfoil hat all is safe the sky is not falling.

This site is a sham. All pictures have to be reviewed by the moderator. Only pictures that suit their cause are allowed to be posted. Case in point is the recent picture of a trash violation at a police facility. It has nothing to do with parking but the moderators allowed it none the less because it tarnishes the N.Y.P.D image. I have sent numerous pictures of bicyclists taking red lights and bikes chanined to meters that blocked crosswalks and you know what? NONE WERE POSTED.
This site has a one sided view and anything that goes against that view is hindered from being posted via mass deletions or all out topic posting denials.
Like I said this site is extremely one sided.

Interesting interpretation of "emergency roles." Does that mean everyone in an agency with an emergency response role: PD, FD, OEM and incident response people from DOB, DOT, DEP and probably others, should get placards? Does that mean everyone in PD? Everyone? Is everyone in PD in an "emergency role?"

What an idiotic question. The only emergency entities with parking permits recognized in NYC are the NYPD and FDNY. Any other agency is not considered an emergency unit. I will break it down for those liberal people who only use one side of there brain hemispheres: If the agency does not have the typical RED/WHITE & Siren package on their department cars then are not EMERGENCY VEHICLES and their personnel is not considered to be in an emergency unit.
DO YOU GET IT NOW?

#12. Cops don't ticket delivery guys because they don't want their food spat in when they're on meal break. It's called discretion. I can type it in all caps if it'll make it easier for you to understand.

I am extremely surprised that this site is still up and running especially since it only garnishes about a few hits a day. Multiple hits from the same 10 people who post do not count.
Hey number 12. I registered so you can call me CARNE or MR CARNE or MR ASADA! Register and stop hiding behind anonymous messages. If you want pics of my personal car you can PM me with your address and I will be happy to come by and show you.
I was hit in the crosswalk by a guy delivering pizza who blew a red light and sent to the hospital. The guy was ticketed for a red light and riding the wrong way. The cops do their jobs and they do what they have to. I know I tip extra well so delivery people don't spit in my food does thet make me guilty of bribery? In your eyes it does I guess.
#16, what gave you the impression this site has an agenda? Is it the name? Is it the photos? Good call.
This site has a very big agenda, which we clearly state in The Problem and The Campaign sections:
Recommendations
While the recently announced $400,000 Department of Transportation study of parking and permit abuse in downtown Manhattan is a positive step toward better understanding parking patterns, the Mayor need not wait for another study to begin upholding the law and reducing the numbers of permits in circulation. The Mayor and the NYPD should immediately implement the following recommendations that would ameliorate the problem overnight:
* Enforce the Law
* Take Inventory of Permits and Reduce the Total
* Educate Government Workers to Eliminate the "Culture of Entitlement"
* Update Parking Signage to Reflect the Communities' Needs
