No Summons! This guy has a dime store non-official Passaic Sheriff Jerry Speziale card saying the bearer should obey all laws of New Jersey. (It probably came after he made a campaign contribution.) Then there's some sticker from a DA's organization call the Criminal Investigation Association. I'll put up my Mickey Mouse Club ID next time I park there and see if I get a $115 ticket.

Actually bright boy, it's not a "Fake Permit", it's NO permit.
This car is parked with the permission and authority of Gracie Mansion as a guest of whatever event is taking place. So no, no ticket.
The driver was most likely instructed to park there and figured he'd toss something up onto the dash even though it wasn't at all necessary.
This is not a violation. You're making this site sillier every day.

#1- The rest of the area appears not to be packed with cars like it would be if there were an event or some sort. Unless you know personally on that day there was such an event, I'd ease up on the bright boy comment..

ABOVETHELAW, You say "the area appears not to be packed with cars", but can you tell how many cars are to the LEFT of the vehicle? At least one that I can see. How many others? 5? 25? How big is an "event" at Gracie Mansion? Could it be just a meeting of 3 people? Maybe a gathering of 10?
You have no idea what your saying, and my criticism still stands. It's NOT a "fake permit" if it's not a permit at all!
This is a Gracie Mansion SEZ no matter what the sign says. It is, and it will be. Will you really be any happier if the city spends the money and manpower to change all the signs just to leave the rule the same? It will STILL be a SEZ and YOU STILL won't be able to park there.

And #3, brush up on your reading skills. The bright boy comment was in regard to his silly claim of "fake permit", it had NOTHING to do with the number of cars there or if any event was taking place. Got it, bright boy?

I Never have nor Ever will need the Assistance of the NYPD. Not to take anything away from you Brave Men and Women, I just Choose to handle things on my own. Never Have, Never Will.......

"I just Choose to handle things on my own"
Now THAT is the silliest claim I've seen on this goofy site yet! HAAAAA HA HA HA... Yeah, you're welcome to handle it on your own when a couple of savages decend down from above 96th St and decide to jack your liberal ass.
You'll come crying to the cops like a kid beaten for his lunch money. I love it when liberals get robbed and beaten. The look in their eyes when they have to admit the race of the attacker! Good grief! It goes against everything they stand for.
I asked a lib robbery victim what color was the guy once. He actually said "I don't know what that matters". Can you believe THAT! This guy deserved what he got.
Handle it. HA HA HA, what a joke!
Yeah, I know - deleted. But come on! Leave it up just long enough for this superhero to read it. He really asked for this response. LOL

#10 Actually, both posts should be deleted, but I agree, #7 is pretty silly.
One of these days it may sink in with the LE folks on here that this is NOT an anti-cop site, that only SOME people on here are liberals and even fewer have a general anti-cop axe to grind.
My #1 personal motivation for participation is that the parking practices folks criticize on here HURT the police and undermine the rule of law. I truly believe that while painful in the short term, cleaning up your act would be in your own best interest.

Salguod, You might feel what I said was Silly but the truth is, I Grew up with the fact that you don't call the Police when something happens to you, you handle it on your own. As unbelievable as it may seem to some, it's a way of life for others. As far as deleteing my comment, it's just my personal opinion. I never have and never will call upon the Police Department for help, it's just the way I was raised. Like I said, I mean no Disrespect to the Men and Woman of Law Enforcement it's just how I was Raised...

Salguod your #1 reason you sink into these debates is because you don't have a life. LOL.
Id hate to be you right about now.

So ABOVETHELAWURNOT, you walk out one morning and can't find your car. It's missing and all that's left in it's place is some broken glass. It's obviously been stolen. YOU DON'T CALL THE POLICE?
You're walking down the street and some savage and his partner in crime grab you and put a knife to your throat. One takes all your belongings including your ID and housekeys, and as they leave, the one with the knife give you a quick shiv between the ribs so you won't be able to give chase. YOU DON'T CALL THE POLICE?
You get home after a weekend away and find the window to your apartment jimmied and a bunch of stuff is missing from your apt. You've been burglarized. YOU DON'T CALL THE POLICE?
You have absolutely NO credibility. Everything you said is ridiculous.
*Moderator, I know most of these posts will be deleted, but again, PLEASE just leave this up long enough for Mr Invulnerable to read.

The reason ABOVETHELAW is a cop hating liberal is because he's been lucky enough to never NEED the police.
Times are changing. He'll be a victim eventually. I just hope he remembers his words then.

That's areal permit, has a badge picture on it.
I'm a victim all the time, but only thievery, never robbery, and I don't subject myself to further abuse by telling NYPD. Makes "em happy 'cause then they can say they drove crime down, and keep a straight face.
You should hear the baloney they'll tell you to get out of doing any work. Somebody shot a bullet thru my tire. I figured trajectory and actually found it with the paint from my car on it. 109 told me it wasn't a bullet. What burns a circular hole going in and a slit for an exit? I could tell you many more. That's why when I call it's for somebody else.
In the words of a homeless girl on the East side (with no ax to grind), if they come and don't make it worse, you're lucky. Took 10 of you creampuffs to arrest all 125 non resisting pounds of her when she went past 1 AM in Central Park one night.
You guys sure talk a lot of crap.

#17 said, "That's areal permit, has a badge picture on it."
Oh MAN you figured us out! I guess it HAS to be real, cause no one else would EVER be able to print up some honorary card or charity donation placard that has a "badge" on it!
Great logic. You're a WINNER!

#15- Read it and I still Stand by my Comment. I'm not "Mr Invulnerable" just Confident. Believe what you will. I know it must shatter some precious egos when their are a handful of people that do not have to rely on members of Law Enforcement for anything.
Posted on Fri, May 11 2007 at 04:46 PM
#21- I Agree with you to a certain extent. Most things can be handled on your own but, certain things the Police can be helpful with. Besides, your tax dollars pay their salary so you might as well get your moneys worth.. As for the Post I can't see how an out of state Sheriffs card gets this guy off the hook.

Trust me when I say that we can tell which are fake and which are real but I have been known to grant courtesy to the fake ones from time to time solely based on their sheer creativity. A really good fake permit will get a free pass from me. Think of it as a badge of honor for the attempt at a forgery.

# 20: I hope you don't do a lot of dtetective work. Perhaps you were absent during the lesson of "sarcastic"

#24: Would you ahve granted a pass to the guy that drew his reg sticker? From a distance it was almost convincing. Spelled it vechicule though.

#28: What's your command?
Posted on Thu, May 17 2007 at 02:50 PM
Hey ABOVETHELAWURNOT, I can't wait until you're a victim of a violent crime one day. You'll see how fast you go running to the cops. And I see you never answered the questions about getting your car stolen, getting stabbed, or getting your house burglarized. Still going to handle it yourself tough guy?
