It really is pathetic that these guys are so lazy they can't be bothered to walk half a block.
They make the whole police force look inept by branding their laziness with the NYPD logo too.
Or they're so arrogant and petty that they block fire hydrants just to show off they can do it.
The bottom line is this: they have made a commitment to enforce the law. If they are breaking it, they are not honoring their commitments. They are not doing their job, and are not earning their paychecks.
It's not just the handful who are actually parking illegally either. The rest are letting them do it. Covering up for them, even, when law abiding citizens make reports to 311.
So they're all lying and stealing our tax money. Fire the whole lot and get some honest cops up in here!

You know the car is illegally parked.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, though, dragonman. Sure, the "SAFETY HAZARD" banner they put over the picture obscured the hydrant.
Put your mouse over the picture and click. It will open the picture without the banner. The hydrant is there clear as day. The day-glo yellow paint on the curb is perfectly clear in both versions.

The funny part is people with handicapped placards don't have to move there cars for street cleaning are wqe gonna start complaining about them to?

The law does not require people with handicapped placards to move for street cleaning. Why would I complain about somebody following the law?
