Where is the violation. He/She is not in the crosswalk. There is no sign saying no parking. This picture should be removed.

the car is in a "No Parking Anytime" which is a valid zone for an official vehicle on official business. the car isnt in the crosswalk.

Oh no. Can't you see that this vehicle is parked both illegally and dangerously? What's wrong with you people?

#2, 3, 5 i think we can give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. let's use our heads on this one: the DOB vehicle happens to be the only car on the entire block. i am willing to bet that the sign says either no standing or no parking certain hours or anytime. i am not usually on this website's side but i think it only seems logical in this case to assume that the car is parked in one of those zones. either way though, the car has official plates and i dont think that any TEA or P.O. would ticket the car under any circumstances.

WillNYC, I'm not giving this website ANY slack. The post claims both "No Parking" and "Parked in Crosswalk", lets take a look at that:

First, the Crosswalk. This vehicle is NOT in the crosswalk. It's bumper is apx 6 inches over the STOPPING POINT line, not the crosswalk line, which can be seen 2 feet away. And even if it was 6 inches over the line, I doubt anyone would give a ticket to it.

Second, the No Parking. This is a city vechile, with official plates, and what looks like a plaque in the window. The plaque tells you that it is currently on official business. So, using this info, and the chart on this website, the car is legally parked. It is allowed to be in a No Parking zone, while on official buisness. (Oh, and why would anyone write a ticket to an offical plate? Make the CITY pay money to the City? Isn't that a little counter-productive?)

Either way, this is another car that is LEGALLY PARKED! PLEASE REMOVE IT ASAP!

I took a number of pictures and there IS a 'No standing anytime' sign just behind the 'Turn right on red sign' which obscures it in this particular photo. I also took another picture of both the sign and the car.

If anyone thinks this car is parked safely on a Sunday morning then I am surprised.
