I suspect this guy is an NYU employee. He is parked on Greene street near 8th Street in one of the Muni-meter pay spots every weekday from 6am-6pm. He has had at least two different "Sheriff" permits numbered #700 and #800. I reported him to 311 but they said they could not tell me when the case is resolved. Obviously it's not. He's still there. Parks in the same space every day. I looked at the list of approved permits, and I don't even see a Sheriff permit listed. His license plate is also not govt issued, its just a regular plate.
