How much more outlandish can it get? Seen in front of 104 Franklin Street, it appears you can get away with not having your car inspected (this one expired 12 days ago) if you use a federal law enforcement permit. I've see cops ticketing cars whose inspection has lapsed by only one day, but this guy clearly gets a free throw with his permit. Interestingly, the guy walking past with coffee cup stopped me to complain about how many violators can be found every day on this block. I encouraged him to take pictures for Uncivilservants.org as I have a full-time job and only intend to submit a maximum of one violation a day. But I clearly could have spent all afternoon on this block taking pictures!

you know...it never seems to amaze me how one person can willingly not want to see that the Department of Justice handles so many different things that you cannot simply imagine....but instead you choose to believe or even think it is a 4 man operation!!
1. What if this is a S.A.C.'s car (special agent-in-charge) and he is out of his field office or hurt even K.L.O.D. ???
2. Do you honestly think that someone is going to stop working on federal matters to go "Oh hey Jim, I know you're in Missouri right now, but could you possibly drop that child-porn ring case that you're about to solve... OR Hey Jim, I know you got shot in the leg last week on a raid trying to stop stolen guns from being sold on the street ..but could you come back here to New York to take your G-ride down to the local inspection station???
3. How do you even know there is not a protocol with the GSA which supplies these cars to the feds,...maybe there is a department fleet services which services their OWN PERSONAL CARS because maybe someone might want to get even or settle a score and try to do something nasty to our finest when they leave their cars with the nice people at the service stations...IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE!
4. How do you even know if the car isn't in need of a tow truck because it is disabled..you should also know that the placard is NOT fake and is valid for 24 hours of the day at this said location!
ALWAYS REMEMBER WHEN YOU FIX YOUR HAND TO POINT AT SOMEONE...THERE'S ALWAYS THREE FINGERS POINTING BACK AT YOU!

Blah, blah, blah, Alias. NYPD makes sure its officers' POV's are registered, insured, and inspected properly. Tell this guy to inspect his damn car. It's not even about the fact that he didn't get a ticket. What if there is something wrong with the car and it causes an accident? I'd be worried about that.
