Everyday there are about a dozen private cars double parked at this entry way to Central Park, with permits issued to the Transit Bureau District.

Everyday there are about a dozen private cars double parked at this entry way to Central Park, with permits issued to the Transit Bureau District.

This is a serious problem, espeically for northbound traffic which has to keep right at the northeast qurdant of the circle in order to proceed on Central Park West. Because that traffic is composed of cars and buses, as well as a fair number of trucks, along with bicyclists attempting to follow the 8th ave. route north, all this double parking creates a serious disruption and safety hazard.
