Invalid permit for HPD

Looks like the permit is the right place, but the car is not, since the plate numbers don't match.

So, this site has been up and runing for what? About six months, no? Well, I'm just wondering if Mayor Bloomberg has started to enforce the law?
Taken Inventory of Permits and Reduce the Total?
Educated Government Workers to Eliminate the "Culture of Entitlement"?
Updated Parking Signage to Reflect the Communities' Needs?

I don't think so. And with your moderators this site is not as interesting or popular as it once was. And not showing license plates is total crap! Heck, www.mybikelane.org shows the license plates. I think you should show the plates and get the names of the offending officers and post them as well! As far as I can see, the NYPD has bullied you into doing whatever they want. This site has done nothiing and it's a shame.

I'll admit the site is less exciting without the all the threats and insults from the LE (that's both good and bad), but that doesn't mean the site isn't doing anything. The site definitely has made a difference in the illegal parking in the spots I see everyday. Although there are still rampant technical violations on Central Park West north of Columbus Circle, I have not seen a car blocking a curb cut, crosswalk or sidewalk since those abuses were exposed on this site. the southern portion of the bridle path in Central Park remains improved, although I have noticed some recidivism, to be the subject of some future posts. As I observed when the site first opened, this battle has been going on for years before and will continue for years more. But we have seen more progress toward eliminating illegal parking by public employees in the last 8 months than in the 8 years prior.
