What command is associated with the placard? I know that technically Restricted NYPD are invalid in "No Standing (Unless the signs says "Except Trucks Loading/Unloading," but maybe the guy was posted at Penn Station, MSG, Midtown South, or TD 2. Of course, he could just be attending an event at the Garden or picking up his daughter from the train station. I guess we'll never know. I just want everyone to remind themselves or at least take into consideration that this guy could actually be working. And in that case, "No Standing" sign aside, we can give him a little bit of a break. Tell me if what I am saying doesn't make sense or if anyone disagrees.
Mine is legal SaintEntreri. I only use it when I'm on the clock. I can park anywhere I please. I've had this placard for the last 19 years without my plate number on it.

Traffic Control Division is all I can make it from the picture. The permit is also invalid because it has no plate number listed.

You don't need a plate number for the placard to be legal.

You sure need it to make it valid. Otherwise anybody could use it.

No, no it isn't. using these placards without a definite indication of the vehicle it is issued to is illegal, even if it is in the correct vehicle.
