I know they are issued by the union but considering that now possession of one of these placards without being a uniformed firefighter is grounds for "Possession of a forged instrument," I think we should give these placards courtesy, as they already are. This guy isn't parked egregiously and if he was parked in front of a firehouse with a "No standing except Fire Dept" he would display the same placard and nobody would say anything. I suppose that isn't the case here, though.

Well, if we should enforce forgery laws, why not enforce the parking laws that are on the same books? You're not suggesting law enforcement in THIS country use double standards are you?
