No Standing Anytime?

Observed by bktom718 on Wed, Sep 26 2007

City van with Official Plates parked from Monday, September 24 to Wednesday, September 26, 2007 on the corner of 92 Street and Ridge Boulevard in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Come see for yourself, there is always at least or two parked over night!

Is there a way to find out why a corner has a certain sign, and what to do to have it removed?

Again, good to see Bay Ridge uncivil servants getting some publicity.

No one should be above the law.

Once again, check the placard. See if it says 24 hours/7 days a week.

Would a car parked there without a pass get a ticket?
if the answer is yes, then it effects me.

What effects you fugedabowdit. You can't park there and if he didn't park there you would have less of a chance finding a place to park anyway.

The sign serves a purpose - otherwise it shouldn't be posted. And, it certainly isn't to reserve a parking spot. And, the vehicle did not have a placecard only NY official plates.

vehicles with official or us government plates don't need a placard and they will not get ticketed under any circumstances nor should they.what im wondering is do you have a job or do you sit around all day and look out your window and only come outside when you see an illegally parked vehicle so you can take a picture of it.

If he has an official plate he doesn't need a placard to park there
