Again, please explain to me this:

If the FD permits are illegal in NYC, how do you prove that the cars parked in the "FD ONLY" spots infront of firehouses are firefighters?

Just because the permit is not city issued does not make it "not legal".

They are just jealous they can't park there. People don't realize all they have to do is put their badge or ID in the window. They don't need a permit to park.

Dragonman- badges and official ID's had best not be put in windows...lest we risk break ins to steal them. LAst thing we need is people who shouldn't have official ID's/badges/etc being able to get them on a whim.
