White Honda Odessey with a police permit seemingly issued by the 60 Precinct of the NYPD is neatly parked right next to the pole which clearly displays NO STANDING.
Nighttime pictures are so boring because there is nobody even driving outside at that time, at least in this picture. He isn't obstructing traffic, he is not causing a safety issue. What if he worked a double and then came home, exhausted, and went around the block looking for a spot and then parked there when he couldn't find one? Not all cops are bad guys just because they park their personal vehicles in such a manner. Don't forget that many cops will look for legal spots for a little while before they put it in a No Standing. I don't advocate parking on the hydrant, but I think in this case, without knowing the details, we can cut this guy some slack. Also, what do you mean by "seemingly" issued? Did it say 60th Precinct on it or not? And if it did, it seems like you are insinuating that it is some sort of fraud of a permit. Maybe I just misunderstood you, though and I apologize if I did.
