Out on Official Business during Easter Sunday

Observed by bktom 7I8 on Sun, Mar 23 2008

Nothing stops the City of New York from it's daily operations--not even a holiday like Easter Sunday. This official vehicle was seen driving around Ridge Blvd and Third Avenue in Brooklyn on a Sunday until it found parking in a residential neighborhood where it remained the rest of the day.

Why can't it park there? I don't see no signs saying he can't

Unless that's a driveway he is blocking, what's the problem? There's no street cleaning on Sunday or holidays. Please state what your objection is to the van's location, unless you're too busy. Oh...I forgot. You have enough time to watch this van for some time, take a photo, post it and write a remark. So, again: What's the problem with the van's location?

What about the permit makes it fraudulent/invalid?

One more valid point, If I may?!?! not everyone is lucky enough to have off on weekends and holidays. Civil servants do work on those days... and one more tiny thing... what if the operator of the van is Jewish, Eastern Orthodox, Muslim or even a Liberal Atheist? Stereotyping is not cool... thanks have a nice weekend and a Happy Passover.
