I guess that means he/she has to cars. Nothing against the law about owning to cars is there?

No, but a placard is supposed to be for only one vehicle.

I believe he can use it for more than one car if he owns more than one car.

HoodWatch, Where does it say that the placard is supposed to be for only one vehicle? The permit goes by employee, not car. Sorry.

Also the cop probably is working a paid detail assignment.

kender - doesn't matter. Restricted placards are exactly that, restricted.

Law if he is on duty or on a call he can park where he pleases.

Law, so, if as part of the officers Paid Detail ASSINGMENT he/she is sent to do work (in uniform, with their gun, and all their Police powers) at a facility that is outside of the officers normal precint, how is he/she supposed to get there, and were are they supposed to park? Paid Detail is yet another flawed NYPD system, and should also be an issue that is adressed when a REAL overhaul is made to the current parking permit system (if that is ever done. Not just a bogus illegal decrease in permits being issued).

It looks like the SBA got the right idea from the permit issue, huh? PBA and DEA are next.
