You have better post of cars illegally park at hydrants, intersection, and cross walks. This is a pic of an expired meter. Help the brother/sister out and put a quarter in it so he/she doesn’t get a $100 ticket. I’m sure he/she would be very grateful.... Use your powers for good.
"Servant:" Why should someone "help" out this person by putting a quarter in their meter. Would any civil servant or NYPD officer or meter maid "help" me out in the same situation?
neo11 no civil servant would be walking around with a camera trying to catch YOU possable breaking parking regs. So I have to say the situation probable wouldn’t come up. But if I saw your car in the same predicament I'd help you out. Becouse we are good people who put our lives on the line every day for the good citizens of the City of New York.

UFA plaques are getting banged left and right so it is possible the meter maid has not made it around yet.

or possibly the meter ran out and the guy was scrambling to get more quarters and the UFA placard was just a request for courtesy

Neo11- The answer to your question is YES. I have put quarters in a row of meters just to be nice while at work.
