He could have been on assignment. Ever think of that.

Says who CBA? I love these if-thens you guys come up with, it's almost entertaining, and completely lacking the most important thing: reality.

Once again you people look at something and pretend to understand it, and even pass judgment on it.

There is a reason they do that, that is all you need to know. The permit is not fake.

The permit is most definitely fake, but has been made to look like an '08 one. It also is missing the plate number, which makes it invalid for use anyway, even if it was legit.

You're right, it's real. It's expired and possibly in the wrong hands. My mistake, I apologize.

I don't understand. It just looks like the old, blue 2007 placard.... What is fake about it and how was it "made to look" like a 2008 one? Unless the picture deceives me, it looks like an old placard. Several people I know were denied placards by IAB because they have a P.O. box listed as an address on their client I.D. card. If the NYS DMV accepts a P.O. box as an address on a driver's license, why can't the NYPD? They live at least an hour away from their precinct, by the way.

call tres uno uno? What in the world will that do? These complaints get sent to the local precinct's telephone switchboard operator for assignment. Obviously they aren't going to do anything about it.

ok, then call the local city councilman, bring him/her this photo. Make him/her get an explanation.

Call the desk at the NY Post. They've been running stories about this and love it when you do their work for them.

Some of these stories (I think they are listed above this one on this home page) tell how the city said the Kabballhh (spelling?) center's permits were fake but the Post showed them pictures and they recanted.

Can you imagine? The city lies to your face and says no until you confront them. I thought that was why we had court and jail for liars and fakers.

How disheartening to hear that the corruption has become so routine, but then that is he basis for some of my ranting and raving beyond this rather small issue of parking tricks.

You wouldn't present an expired permit to drive the car and get away with it. Why expect to use an expired permit to park and get away with it?

"He could have been on assignment. Ever think of that."

Doesn't matter. Even if it weren't fake (believe me, it is), this permit wouldn't allow the driver to park wherever they wanted to.
