Shopping and dining at the local malls in my neighborhood is corrupting cops daily. Another few postings here today.
These acts create blind spots which endanger other motorists and pedestrians alike.
A woman was injured by auto 6pm 12/24/2006 due to the blind spots and traffic congestion which results from these illegal acts.
Shame on the cops who break the law and shame on those who turn a blind eye.

The blind spot would be at the other end of the island. Not at that corner

No blind spots there. I can clearly see through the truck's windows as is with the car's windows. BTW, what ever happened to the "assault and battery" charge you levied against the owner/driver of that truck you "illegally" took pictures of? You know the one hiyall, the person who asked you to stop taking pictures but you kept on taking pictures... And what about that woman who was hit because she was jaywalking across a busy street during the last few hours before Christmas during the height of shopping season? How is she doing?

It is still illegal to park here and hmmm here the car and truck are

Might be illegal to park there, But you should stop making up stories hiyall.

Not might be illegal - it is illegal.
Your opinion on the veracity of the facts presented here - well perhaps you can start your own website. I presented factual statements and photos - all that is relevant here.

dragonman - guess you and I are not going to be pals - just as well - we have a fundamental, cataclysmic difference in our value system - I support those who obide by the law and you support those who do not. I do not think I am at such a big loss by not having you as a pal. Now back to the topic - the car is illegally parked.

hiyall maybe you should take the test and go out there day after day risking your life for the well being of others then you can park there too.

1) I have served the public and my country
2) I have risked my life for the safety and freedom of others
3) The only ones who have assaulted, insulted or harrassed me recently are NYPD or their pals - this current thread not excepted.
4) Were I a police officer, I would be obeying my oath to faithfully enforce the laws of the state or city and I would not park there.
5) Back to the topic of this thread - the car is illegally parked and the causation of diminished public safety.

I'm glad you served for this great country of ours, but if you were a police officer you would be parking there too. Who are you kidding. You are only complaining because you can't park there.

drag, when will you learn that most of us arent interested in breaking the law? the interest is in good government and in transportation reform. no one is complaining b/c they can't park illegally.
"but if you were a police officer you would be parking there too." wow, that's quite a statement. if i were a cop i'd be pretty insulted by what you said, 'coz you're saying that all cops are corrupt.

I'm not saying all cops are corrupt. You don't see me respond to any pictures that are actually a safety issue, Only when the picture shows that it is not a safety issue or the person making the claim that it is harmful or destroys property, or creates blind spot where they don't appear unless someone else is breaking the law. Some of the people who post these picture some who drive and some who don't drive would love to be able to park there. But like I've said in a lot of my responses if they park where you can't , then they are leaving a legal spot for you.

dragonman - you are correct you did not say that all cops are corrupt, but you surely did imply that all cops are corrupt and would surely break the law as you do.

Perhaps this politician's fall from grace started much earlier with small crimes such as Illegal Parking:
How did it happen?
"I grew up as a small-town boy in North Carolina, came from nothing, worked very hard, dreamed that I could do something helpful for other people with my life, became a lawyer, through a lot of work and success I got some acclaim as a lawyer. People were telling me you’re such a great person, such a great lawyer. There’s no telling what you’ll do.
"Then I went from being a young senator to being considered for vice president, running for president ... becoming a national public figure, all of which fed a self-focus, an egotism, a narcissism that leads you to believe you can do whatever you want, you’re invincible and there will be no consequences. And nothing could be further from the truth."
Interview with John Edwards.
This is one of the few privileged folks that was getting paid $50,000 a pop for speeches on poverty.
There but for exposure go many civil servants in this city.
