Volunteer involved in Public Safety - What a Joke

Observed by hiyall on Sun, Sep 28 2008

This fella puts a clip on id for Volunteers Involved in Public Safety from Minnesota on dash. No problem says 110th, park all day and no summons from us. We are very proficient at allowing folks to break the law. We wouldn't want to get an ink stain on our finger.

Illegally parked to play soccer at High School - next to school, 2 malls and in midst of merging traffic.

Oh, btw, word is out about the web site, a neighbor and cop is now yelling "Rat" at me from across the street. So pathetic - crooked cops in denial.

I hope you stopped taking pictures when they told you too stop. They can place you under arrest.

They can always place you under arrest. It would of course be a false arrest.

If you are told to stop and you don't. You can be placed under arrest for harassment.

There is no expectation of privacy in public. People can take all of the pictures they want. Harassment is a violation (summons, not arrest).

I see this is the 114 speaking. I've been noticing a loss of civil liberties in that precinct. Now you know why.

You can take all the pictures you want in public. Just can't get too close.

They don't want you to take pics of a guy with a MINNESOTA Public Safety VOLUNTEER ID, breaking the law.

They will arrest you for documenting his crimes while you have committed none. And you guys don't see why I say there's a bigger picture than this parking thing?
