On the day my son was born at Long Island College Hospital there were about a dozen cars with DOT permits parked on the sidewalk just outside the hospital. The cars blocked access to a small park.
Odd... you say about a dozen cars were parked on the sidewalk, but the photo shows just one.... and a large stretch of empty sidewalk.. not to mention that the stretch of fence along the sidewalk belies the "blocked access to a small park".
But congrats on the new baby!!

Not the point of what she said. Why was the car parked on the sidewalk? Causing the people to walk around in the street. There is a garage 10 feet in front of that car. I know that because my son was born there. Good try LOSER. And to the baby good luck.

On what should be one of the happiest days in your life, all you can think of is taking a photo of a parking condition? Very strange.LOSER
#4, we all lose, especially our kids, with all the illegal parking that's going on in parks, sidewalks, bus stops, in front of fire hydrants. I guess your view is that if the streets to dangerous for kids to play in, and cops have parked all over the sidewalk, then it's just tough luck, the kids just have go to the park--where all the Parks Department people and NYPD officers like to park as well (http://nyc.uncivilservants.org/?agency=71). Are you trying to raise kids in NYC?
What can I say, Anonymous. My wife was in labor for about 36 hours. I had plenty of time to watch the DOT contractors coming and going from their sidewalk parking lot.

you should photoshop the paperwork on the windowsill, blow it up and sharpen it with the right software and it can be read.

you guys are just a bunch of nothing else better to do guys than taking picture cars. stop worrying about what the civil servants are doing with their illegal parkings and start worrying about the war and other things. Whoever created this site needs to get a life. And for those who takes picture of cars, stop being a cry baby....

moron: if we continue to be as automobile dependent as we are, we will continue to have war over oil resources. why do you think we're in iraq? osama's not there. did it ever occur to you that your personal motoring has something to do with the war in iraq? if not, here's a news flash: it does.
