USPS with invalid placard

Observed by lawandorder on Mon, Dec 22 2008

Again, this person is parked illegally with somebody elses's placard.

Also note the USPS vehicle left out on the sidewalk. This is very common.

No traffic, looks to be late at night. So parked veh in street is ok with me. Veh on sidewalk should be tagged and towed.

The USPS vehicle will not get a ticket and neither will the other car.

Federal workers have it tough enough. Why bother the postal worker who works hard to deliver the mail to all of us. In my book this is a free pass. I would move on to someone who could obviously afford the hit in the pocket.

Thank you fuss for backing the Postal Worker. Nobody understands what the Postal Worker goes thru.

What postal workers go through is irrelevant -- the car is parked illegally.

Under your eyes it is. Under our eyes it isn't.

In your eyes he is parked illegally. Until you walk in our shoes it is not irrelevant. They also didn't get a ticket. That is called professional courtesy.

No, dragonman, under the law it is illegally parked.
