As much as I appreciate the fact that all of us chip in to report this occurrence, I slowly come to accept the fact that most, if not all, traffic agents do not and will not give ticket to those with placards on their dashboard whether it's legit or not. My only hope is that this site administrator will report back to the city government whatever evidence we help collect so proper action will be taken.
hungtat - its actually more serious than that - NY Traffic Agents have actually been fired for issuing summons to the "wrong" person. With corruption, politics and retribution built into the NYPD, it is no puzzle why behavior by the patrol agent avoids issuing summons regardless of the risk to the community either physical or financial.
The whole point is to raise awareness via this outlet, news media and other campaigns to make it less desirable for the authority abusers and crooks (that's right I said it - crooks) to practice their black art.

I love the way dragonman considers the fact that they were't ticketed to somehow legitimze their actions. That's the whole point, actually.

They don't ticket their own. Get used to it.
