Notice how he pulls up on the car in front of him and traps it in the spot.

This car is always parked there! Yeah, I guess some could argue that s/he is not taking up a spot that others could use but like the first person commented, the car's bumper is usually touching the other in front making it difficult to get out. And, when it snowed bad in the winter, it was blocking the shovled part of the bus stop!

While I agree that this is abusive, the picture you posted doesn't show the guy in front being "trapped". For all I know, there's a driveway in front of the car and he's got plenty of room to pull out.

Too many idiots jumping to conclusions. Just state the facts and stick with it; why the conjecture? Is the lady in the picture a prostitute? If so why isn't she arrested?

I believe on the other (legal) side of the bus stop is 4 or 5 parking spaces before a fire hydrant and then the corner of 68th Drive.
oiseau... the heavy tinted windows are very hard to enforce without the use of a tint meter - these devices are generally not issued to a patrol cop, tho some have taken the initiative and purchased their own.
First off you have no idea how much room the car in front of him has in front of it so you cant say that he's blocking anyone in.
Second the cops and firefighters do so much for us and work so hard and get paid so little why are you people trying to go after the few perks that they have. It's rediculous.

Had an incident once where I needed to call the police. It wasn't 'lights & sirens' emergency. After a few phone calls it took them 4 hours to show up! Friend of mine is a firefighter. When he 'works' overtime, he sleeps through half of it and watches TV for the other half.

#11.......
maybe the cops were responding to a parking condition within their precinct and couldn't come right away.....
as for your firefighter "friend" ....guess you don't have ANY respect for what he does for a living with that post.....
don't forget, your "friend's" next fire call could, God forbid, be his last....
How would you feel if this was the last thing he saw you post on this site.....
with "friends" like you, he doesn't need enemies.....
you are a disgusting, horrible person to make a comment like that.......
I know how little room he leaves because I was once blocked in by that car. And Anonymous must be a serial illegal parking uncivil servant him/herself. Why else would they troll this site trying to justify their actions?

Speaking of knowing a fireman. I know one who receives parking tickets which he claims are 'because of firefighter placard.' Implying cops will ticket him regardless. Don't know of any cops who get ticketed.

It's not always true that FD sits around because they have to do inspections and whatnot. Hear it all the time "We'll be delayed due to AFID inspection" on the dispatch radio.
And if they do sit around and only work for an hour or 2, it will the most furious hour you've ever seen and I have the pics to prove it, some will make you cry, guaranteed.

Whaaa whaaa whaaa. I work, too. Has everyone overlooked the 'expired permit' part of the picture? If any layman was pulled over and showed anything 'expired' that is reason enough to arrest 'em and impound there vehicle.

Walked by the other day. A car which looked very similar to one in question was parked legally next to bus stop. So, don't know if it is same person or not. However, the car I saw had dark plastic cover over the back license plate. ILLEGAL!

Kudos! Haven't seen that person parking there in a while. But, 'yes' that is him with the inappropriate license plate covering.
