why do so many people in this city drive suvs? i see my neighbors with them all the time and they are private citizens, no civil servants.
i doubt there is all that much difference in the percentage of civil servants that own suvs as opposed to the general population.
and no, i don't own one... i drive an economy car... it gets me from point A to point B on a regular basis... but i don't have problems with those that own suvs... they have to fill their own tanks, not me

Towne is an auto dealer in the Buffalo-area. Pretty sure that no front plate is NYS is a violation.
Also, just a note to the site maintainers -- the state police go by NYSP, not NYSPD.

Maybe it's a new car and has a temporary registration(so that's why there's no front plate) Also, where is the placard, or did the poster get it wrong like the other state police post? (which is actually a NYC sheriff placard) People should really know what they are talking about before they post.

How can you even post this with no indication of the signage or placard??!! This is pretty much a baseless posting and it should be deleted.
Again, what does and SUV and a civil servant have to do with illegal parking? The vast majority of SUVs are owned by non-civil servants... sheer population numbers guarantee that.
I don't own an SUV... the gas alone would drive me broke... but I don't label those that do.

You should start labelling those who own SUVs. They all have the same mindset. As a cop you should be interested in what makes a person do something with no regard to the environment and others around them.
This vehicle has NJ tags on it. It looks like the placard is issued to a federal law enforcement officer. It also has NYPD self enforcement (blue) tag on the dashboard. This vehicle is a frequent guest @ this location. What's he doing @ Columbia presbyterian.......who knows?

I'm falling in love with this website.
Someone has got to get down to Prospect Park south with a camera.
The police park all over the side walk, jogging to the park takes me having to run into the street to get there, there is almost no side walk left.

Where's the "police card" from. The car looks like it has a light package in the grill but where's the front plate. Is this from out of state????????

OISEAU
The last time I checked with the constitution of the USA....
I beleive people with sufficient amounts of money can buy an SUV. It's called freedom to purchase legitimate goods.
Are you stereotyping or tyepcasting a certain group of people? Are you prejudiced or just dumb an ignorant?
