What is up with the citizens of NY? I can't believe that this guy has the time to take this picture and comment about it? Are you homeless and have nothing to do? Better yet are you doing this on JOB time? Does you boss know that you're doing this? Shame, Shame. My boss knows that I'm writing this because I am the boss. The guys are trying to do their job as best they can. What would you do if you were the driver? probably the same because you can't park it in a GARAGE and run outside of it to so your job. What's next.... Fire trucks parked in the middle of the street? Hello idiot... they are doing their job!
Anon 4:33, parking on the sidewalk (especially such a big truck on such a narrow sidewalk) puts lives in danger. If you didn't figure that out, then who's the idiot?
Ah yes, you know so much about me, Anon 5:16. My grandfather also fought in WWII, but I don't know how that makes me a man or not.
I lost a beloved high school teacher to a car crash. Another crash ended my mother's dancing career. A third crash, and a friend of mine couldn't walk for three months.
Look up the death toll from car crashes. Everyone in this country faces danger because of these stupid machines. Parking laws are intended to minimize this danger. That's the point of this site.

I notice you are only writing about Fox news, if it were one of the big liberal three would you have bothered?

I fail to understand why this site is a "liberal bloodbath". There is nothing inherently liberal or conservative about obedience to the law. People who park anyway they please, regardless of busstops, fire hydrants, or **sidewalk egress** are not politically principled. They are selfish.
And I am a big Fox fan-- can't get enough of American Idol, Blake and Jordin all the way, baby! But please park your van in a parking space or garage, not on the sidewalk.
To the post about only focusing on Fox, check out the ABC vans.

Although parking on the sidewalk is wrong, that's a satellite truck that maybe needed to get a signal out of the canyons of lower Manhattan and that was the only spot possible.

This is also a street where there are no cars that come down so technically it is not causing a safety concern. You should have walked around the corner to Pine Street and saw all the cars with bogus permits.
You know whats even better that Channel 7 put this on WHATS BUGGING YOU, then someone posted a pic of a Channel 7 van doing the same thing now that post is not on here anymore, WHY IS THAT, and you are only posting channel 5 vehicles. See they only post what they want? and this guy is doing nothing wrong
