I purposely ignore motorists who park in these crappy bike lanes. It tickles me pink to know that some person is thoroughly irate when they have to peddle around a parked car in one of their supposed bike lanes. Kudos to the motorist for not blocking a bus lane or a hydrant.
A free pass in my book.
Of course the scooter isn't relevant, it's a "Transportation Alternative". I didn't ask if the scooter had a placard, I asked if the owner of said scooter paid for their time. Isn't the mission of this site to ultimately make the streets of NYC safer for EVERYONE? Not just bikers? And you all know how I feel about inconsiderate bikers... http://nyc.uncivilservants.org/post/index/8505#comments I have saved a copy of this just in case... :-)
mvodohmh, from what I can tell, TA isnt into motor scooters -- take a look at their site. This site is about placard abuse. If you want to make a website about scooters illegally parking, or people riding bikes or whatever else, go right ahead.

So what about that scooter in the background? Did the owner pay for their time?

mvodohmh, the scooter is not relevant to the mission of this site, since it has no placard.
