No actually it is not legal to park around the corner from the studio in a NO PARKING area even for 5 seconds. That is why there is a NYP zone allowing three hour parking. A press pass is for parking at the scene of a news assignment the person is actully covering and then for only three hours. It is not a free parking pass.

Wrong, this abused restricted parking street should be returned to the community as normal street parking. The signs are there because it is a bus street and as such the theory is to facilitate trafffic flow. Instead scofflaws and lack of enforcemet allow this "person" tp abuse his press placard. So either no one can park there or everyone can park there. Curbisde parking is at a premium in this neighborhood, and this abuse and lack of enforcement must be corrected.

This is not a free reserved parking lot for FOX 5 employees. They already have 67th street. FOX 5 is losing its NYP zone on the Northside of 68th street due to abuse of press placards.

Lt me give you a hint, Residents have rights. Some residents own and need cars and are entitled to park in their neighborhoods. You see residents live here. How would it be if we went to long island and put signs up all over your neighborhood preventing you from parking but allowing us to park so in theend you would not be able to park in your own zip code.

Try reading your press placard and what it entitles you to do and where and for how long. No way is it a free parking pass as you people abuse it.

By the way with FOX 5, the commander of the 19th precinct, and parking enforcent officials in attendance at the community board 8 meeting, all agreed NYP working for FOX 5 are not permitted to park in a NO PARKING zone around the corner from the studio.

#2: Any good reporter keeps a distance from the cops in case he has to report on misdeeds. Hard to be subjective when you are a cheerleader.

The guy from Newsday had Commish Popeye drive 2 counties out to Melville to complain about his very legal, but unflattering columns.

The guy from the Post accepeted an award from the PBA. Who is doing a proper job?

You're allowed 3 hours at the studio because you have to download sometime.
