NYP Parking Illegally With Expired Placard

Observed by Dick Tracy on Tue, Mar 27 2007

Another Fox 5 employee parking all day near the studio in violation of their expired press placard enjoying the east 68th street free FOX 5 employee parking lot. He just blends right in with the rest of the scofflaws.

Can anyone please tell us the limits of this SEZ, or any other. I'd be surprised if it's this far up from the precinct.

It would be nice tp have the sectret govt. maps, you kno wthe ones that don;lt exist, but what does that have to do with NYP with an expired placard breaking the law>

If I were a cop or a fireman, I'd be pretty embarrassed and disgusted by the actions of my fellow civil servants.

But there is always that blue line, there is always the "if you can't beat 'em join 'em mentality" and unfortunatley it is that which prevents any thing getting doen about this, ever.

Well, for you information the NYPD is backed up on printing press placards, a lot of people (myself included) still have 06 placards.

Try reading your placard. valid or expired it does not allow parkinga all day around the corner from the studio in a NO PARKING zone. Even FOX 5 management could not defend that. I think abused placards should be pulled, very simple. Three strikes and you are out for 5 years.
