UFA member not getting it

UFA placards are not valid for use anywhere on NYC streets, even in this "No Standing Any Time Except Fire Dept" zone.
Firefighters continuously doubleparking in Queens
Grand Ave and Queens Blvd, Queens. Observed by annoyed on Mon, Apr 02 2007
On Grand Ave near Seabury street in Elmhurst Queens, firefighters continously doublepark their personal vehicles all day long. Grand Ave is a busy congested street as it is. This location is one block from 4 bus routes and 2 subway lines. No excuse for this illegal activity.
Abuse of FDNY Medical Center only permits #2

Ladder 20 firefighters—despite having a garage AND parking lot—frequently double- and triple-park in front of, across from, and north of their firehouse at 253 Lafayette Street. Problem is most private vehicles have not got the necessary FDNY medical center permits to park here. Traffic on this block is frequently congested due to this consistent abuse.
