24 Hour Reserved Spot for President of NY Press Club in Front of Soho Home
23 Mercer St, Manhattan. Observed by Mercer on Thu, Dec 03 2009
There is a spot reserved in front of 23 Mercer Street for NYP plates. There are no time restrictions so it is effectively a permanent spot for this Volvo that is always parked there. I'm guessing the owner lives in the building. It has been there for 5 days straight now. Ridiculous. Pay for a parking lot like the rest of us!
Licence Plates: Who Needs Them I Am a Cop and Above the Law!. Valid Placard: I Don't Need No Stinken Valid Placard.

NYPD? with expired and edited placard and no front licence plate parked in an NYP zone and not in self-enforcement zone, whatever the hell that is.
Note the detectve endowment card blocking the precinct information. One has to wonder if this is an active duty cop, a relative or friend, or just a guy who found or was given the expired and invalid placard.
Apparently the enforcement people do not know what day it is or even care. Put a placard on the dash bogus or not and you are just hunky doorey.
Front licence plate, who needs it if you have a placard, even if expired and invalid and heck it ruins the sleek look of his white front bumper.
I just checked, March 2, 2007 and the car is still there and it is parked in a three hour Press zone. Yup the fix is in with enforcement. The blue wall of corruption and dishonor.
Huh! What Day is it, Duh.... Hey, Wait a Minute, What Year is it, Duh..

Expired NY Press placard that apparently is illegible to color blind law enforcement for over two months.
In addition the car is parked for more than the three hours permitted by signage, actually for days. Must have been a hell of a story, probably a trilogy with a sequel and a redux.
Just Checked March 2 2007 and the car is still there.
Just checked again March 14, 2007 and the car is still there, This is supposed to be a 3 hour time limit zone, 24 hours a day.
