Blocking buses at a special school
1201 66th street, Brooklyn. Observed by Bill Buxton on Thu, Jul 15 2010
This car has been parked outside the school all day. Called 311 and was directed to the local precinct. They came and said they couldn't ticket as they didn't know school was in session..... even though they were standing outside the school where school kids were coming and going and we TOLD them school was in session.
License number on permit doesn't match. Pink card permit with no lamination - fake??
School Bus Drops Kids Off in Street Because Curb Clogged with Teachers and Cops
West 78th St. and Amsterdam, Manhattan. Observed by BicyclesOnly on Wed, Jan 09 2008
As I walked down this street I saw the bus let the kids off in the middle of street. When I got to the front door of the school, I found the numerous vehicles parked right at the front door of the school parked in the "No Parking School Days 7-4 pm" sporting DoE and NYPD placards. Among them was the car with an NYPD placard the photo and info for which is in the non-public portions of this post. This officer was not parked in an SEZ.

Teachers Setting a Poor Example
West 77th St. at columbus, Manhattan. Observed by BicyclesOnly on Tue, Jan 08 2008
Every day, teachers park illegally on this stretch of West 77th St., which is not intended for Board of Ed parking. As a result, parents dropping off their kids double park and the street becomes congested and unsafe. This post is for the tan explorer in the foreground.
